Climbing the Golden Mountain

the noise

of our lives

drifts away,

chatter of 

our minds

sinks into

that perfect

lake of nothing,

then, oh

then we can

apprehend

that golden

mountain,

always there,

waiting for

us to be

still enough

to hear it.
